COS Brighton is officially OPEN!

26 Nov

It’s here! Like Christmas has come 29 days early… Cos has finally opened its Sussex store, on East Street, Brighton. First impressions this morning: the staff have the Swedish-chic look that The Sartorialist eats up, the William Russell (the architect, whose clientele includes McQueen and Margaret Howell) changing rooms are a great size and the clothes are as sublime as ever – in my opinion it’s better than the Regent Street store… WE WIN! In your face, London. The design team play on proportion, volume and symmetry, so that a dress from them isn’t about becoming another identikit trend-slave – Brighton will love that. Staff promised that new items will appear every week, so if you can’t get there this weekend, next week will be just as exciting. Hurrah!
