I’d Walk A Mile For A Camel (Coat)

20 Sep

LFW is a great opportunity to see which of the season’s trends have filtered down from the pages of a mag to its editor’s back. The first of the Fashion-Ed-Approved trends for AW10 is the camel coat. I saw an abundance at LFW this week – even more than aviator jackets. Here are a few of my favourites.

Carven at FEATHERS, London.

H&M (only £59.99!)

My favourite: 3.1 Philip Lim at http://www.net-a-porter.com

The ultimate camel: Chloe (c) style.com

The perfect beauty-trends to go with a Camel Coat? Matte red lipstick, natural eyes with brown mascara and cashmere skin.

Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella £17 http://www.narscosmetics.co.uk

Teint Radiance £28 Yves St Laurent at http://www.selfridges.com

Studio Fix Lash in Studio Brown £12.50 http://www.maccosmetics.co.uk

I love the last coat too, you can’t beat a good camel… love the beauty products too.

That NARS pencil in Cruella is amazing. I wear that and rotate it with NARS Dragon Girl and MAC Ruby Woo. Cruella was the color I wore to FNO in NYC and got rave compliments from all sorts, incl. the creative director at Tela. It just looks so saturated and has just the tiniest hint of rust/burgundy so it’s got a sophisticated edge. Would look killer with a camel coat, no eye makeup and some slouchy, broken-in jeans.

Thanks BWM! Yes it’s definitely a winner, I’m always raving about it! The perfect red. Xx
