My husband is a mixologist of sorts. Not a professional you understand, but having grown up with Brian Flanagan as his hero he’s got a way with a cocktail shaker. Last Saturday his skills were once again tested when I came home with orange juice and apple juice, when he’d asked for elderflower, brown sugar and pomegranates. With a living room full of parched visitors, he rolled up his sleeves and set to work, cursing the provincial mixers. This is what he came up with. And the reason I ended up losing Ibble Dibble.
THE SPRINGBOK PUNCH, named for our South African guest, Tammy.
